I am burdened with glorious purpose.
- To say thank you to my followers and to celebrate The Avengers’ success, I have decided to do a giveaway.
This is my bargain.
- ONE medium sized box (approx 11” x 8.5” x 5.5”) full of Avengers/Marvel toys and merchandise.
How desperate are you?
- You can reblog this post a MAXIMUM of THREE times. Likes also count.
- Following me does not increase your chances of winning, so please don’t feel compelled to do so unless you just really enjoy an insane amount of Tom Hiddleston all over your dash.
- Yes, I will ship anywhere in the world.
- Please make sure your ask box is open so I can contact you if you win. I would hate to have to choose someone else.
Stalling won’t change anything.
- You have ONE WEEK from today. The giveaway ends Saturday, 26 May.
In the end, it will be every man for himself…good luck.

What is “Buffy the vampire slayer” ? part 3
One of the first tv shows focused on strong female characters , making the heroine , Buffy Summers , a feminist icon. After 10 years , we still remember each one of these characters : independant , fierce , warrior , bad ass. It’s not only about physical strengh or how well they use their weapons , it’s about their journey ( emotionnal pain…) and how they get through the worst , stronger than ever. They came to win , to fight ,to rise.
WOW. Win.

Update, y’all
No one knew how much oil changes cost in 1950 because cars didn’t get oil changes back then. They got lube jobs. Thank you, Papa!

I need to know how much an oil change cost in 1950, and no one knows. Not even KGB.

A collection of Britney Spears saying “Baby” in her songs
This is funny because I first learned who Britney was about three years behind everyone else, and all I had to say when someone lent me their headphones, was “She sure does like to say baby.”

I was going to…
Reblog a gif of my favorite part of The Avengers (it took me forever to find, surprisingly,) but I realized that about %40 of the greatness is its surprise and I can’t bring myself to ruin it for anyone.
-
The Avengers.
I have seen a lot of Marvel/comic book movies and I don’t know why it took me until now to see what they’re all about and to stop writing them off the “Awesome” category. Superheroes aren’t perfection on a pedestal—in fact, that is the point. They are about how gifts come with responsibility, and how the world perceptions these gifts give us, often isolate us.
They are so beautiful.

A writer never has a vacation. For a writer life consists of either writing or thinking about writing.
